Your housing options under NDIS

Considering your housing options

Under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), people no longer have to be in shared living to access disability supports.

They can choose:

  • where they want to live
  • who they want to live with
  • who can come into their home and when

If you currently, or plan to, receive disability supports under the NDIS, you can consider your housing options, including where you live and who you live with.

Talk to the NDIS local area coordinator in your area to discuss access to disability support under the NDIS or you can talk to your nearest Housing Service Centre or call 13QGOV (13 74 68).
